Promote your business with Facebook and SEO pt. 2

How to Promote yours business with Facebook and SEO pt. 2

There has been much progress made on Daily Audience between the views that have been raking in for GraniteWarehouseTN, the new Blue Yeti Microphone, and a new video released on the Youtube channel which you can view above! Nearly 2,000 people saw a single post on Facebook. 2000 Pinterest visitors this month, and more. I'm just waiting on the green light from Chris and then I plan on doing a T-shirt giveaway! Anyways I'm getting ahead of myself let's talk about the video...

If you haven't seen my previous video you might want to check out part 1! This is part 2 of promoting your business with Facebook and search engine optimization.

In this video I show you how to use groups on Facebook to find your targeted audience. My client is GraniteWarehouseTN and they install granite, marble, and quartz countertops in the West Tennessee area. So I went ahead on Facebook and joined the groups that included the area of Tennessee that I will be targeting the most. This includes some of the most populated areas of West Tennessee like Nashville, Memphis, Jackson, Paris, Knoxville, etc.

Creating some type of list will help you sort out much of this information and will clear up any confusion you might have in the future.

Upon typing in "nashville" into the Facebook search you'll be greeted with several groups to join. I followed it up with "buy" or "sell" and joined the groups I found available to me. I repeated the process over and over for each of the cities and town's that my client can reach. You can also narrow your search down to groups only as well.

Always remember to check out the group rules to make sure that they allow the content you are attempting to share. Also remember to provide links to your website, Facebook page, and any other contact information so your customers will have no trouble finding their way to your content.

Never be afraid to engage in activity with anybody that may comment on whatever you are sharing. Everybody should already know to be kind and respectful. Treat everybody as if you were talking to them standing in front of you.

Be sure to like the video and subscribe to the youtube channel to see the new videos I create as they come out!

Social Media, SEO, Graphic Design, Video production, and A+ certification

Social Media | Graphic Design | Video Production | A+ Cert

There are many tools and resources that I use to keep Daily Audience as the most powerful social media management service in Tennessee. I want to talk about how many of these things tie everything together. Let me start by saying SEO (search engine optimization) applies to each and every one of these things. Whether you're posting to your website, uploading a picture to Facebook, pinning on Pinterest, or uploading a youtube video tutorial SEO can be used in every instance to boost the visibility of your content on the web. Filling out those descriptions, including keywords, hashtags, and more can all help stack your google page ranking to bring you up to the top!

Social Media

Everybody should know what social media is by now: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Youtube, Instagram, and Tumblr just to name a few. Social media has a powerful impact on your website's google page ranking. Google uses many of these things including SEO, keywords, and more to determine where you site will be when you initiate a google search. Not only that but social media allows you to promote your content and make sure it reaches you specific targeted audience. Staying active, and keeping up to date information on your social media platforms can give your site just the boost it needs. Check out my video How social media benefits businesses.

Graphic Design

People prefer pictures and graphics over text. This has already been proven multiple times in the digital marketing world. We have websites, social media pages, news feeds, etc. Sure we can re-post, re-blog, and re-tweet, but what about original content? What about designing a logo, or eye catching cover photos? Throughout my journey as a social media I have seen many great companies that don't utilize the power of graphic design to create strong content that brings their customers back. You may have a vision of how you'd like things but aren't able to make this vision into a reality. There are many tools that can be used to do so. Free software such as gimp, or more professional paid software like photoshop. With the right experience behind the mouse both of these and others can be used to create exactly what you want. Video Content and Production

"64%.
That’s how much more likely website visitors are to buy a product on an online retail site after watching a video. In addition, visitors who view videos stay on the site an average of 2 minutes longer than those who don’t view videos" - source
Video is also one of the most effective ways to engage your target audience. With Youtube around it is very easy to upload your video to promote yourself or your brand. I'm sure some of you are familiar with Youtube. Youtube videos can be extremely helpful to both you and your audience. Video tutorials are the most common way to kick off an excellent youtube channel. There are many factors to account for before uploading or even thinking about recording a video. The right planning, and execution of a video playlist can determine the difference between a video long forgotten with 23 views, and a popular maybe even viral video with thousands of views that continue to accumulate over time. Software such as Adobe After Effects, and Sony Vegas are what really polishes your videos to a clean and professional finish. Between your business watermark, smooth transitions, the ability to render high quality, intros/outros, you will absolutely need some good software.  I could easily write an entire blog post about the many points to be made when it comes to video production but I will leave it here. Feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions!

A+ Certification

You might wonder why A+ certification would be listed here. You might not even know what the Comptia A+ certification is!
  1. The A+ certification demonstrates competency as a computer technician. CompTIA A+ certification is a vendor neutral certification. It requires two tests to be passed: the 220-801 exam and the 220-802 exam.
As a social media manger or SEO expert we cannot do much without our strongest tools, our computers! Computers are great and are the driving point behind many businesses. However computers are absolutely not perfect at all! Many people struggle with even operating a computer let alone troubleshooting all of the problems that may occur! My client's often come to me with issues that I have no problem fixing for them! I have yet to find a computer that I have been unable to fix or diagnose correctly. In fact through the many challenges I have been faced with I have only come out more experienced than before!

To sum things up...

Daily Audience is a service I provide using only myself and my extremely expensive pieces of technology. I am equipped with everything necessary including a Blue Yeti studio quality microphone, performance computer featuring an octocore processor and 16GB of memory clocking at 1600mhz to power the 40 tabs of google chrome I have open 16 hours of the day. Many people think it requires a team of 6+ people that you have to pay big money for. Nope! I have many skills to bring to the table besides just social media management and SEO. Not to mention I'm always reading all of the latest information and statistics about digital marketing. I work with my client's to make their vision come true and keep them as relevant as possible on the internet!
